From silicon to intelligence

I studied at UPT’s Faculty of Automation and Computers from 2022 to 2026 and finished with a 10/10 thesis on an autonomous greenhouse. Through the E³UDRES² programme I also took part in academic activities at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences in Austria. In July 2026 I started a master’s in Artificial Intelligence at UPT.

My first engineering experience was at Nokia in Timișoara: a programme in 2023, then an internship in the MCTRL team, in C++ on the BTS processor. In 2024 I also turned to security, first with Bitdefender’s AI programme on malware, then as a part-time Junior Security Researcher until January 2025. I went back to Nokia in 2025, on C++ components for mobile network products.

I have been writing firmware at Axon since February 2026, in C/C++ for connected public-safety devices.

Since 2022 I have also volunteered in LigaAC’s technical department at UPT, on the university’s websites. In 2023 I coordinated its funding proposals working group, with 20 students.

I have taught since 2024, alongside my own studies. I taught Docker and Kubernetes at Liga AC Labs, in the Nokia Technology Center for Mobile Networks, in 2024, and for UPT’s Cloud Master programme in 2025. I teach weekly Python classes at Algorithmics and, since September 2026, the Computer Architecture labs at UPT, as a teaching assistant.

From 2024 to 2026 WiseLearning, the education side of my company, ran two e-learning platforms, which are no longer online, and computer science courses for high school and university students. At UPT Innovation Fellows 2024 they received a special award, for the best business idea and implementation.

I still give private computer science lessons, one to one, in C/C++, Python and Java, for high school and university students.

Through Solemtrix I build custom software for companies, farms, clinics and public institutions: firmware and sensors, computer vision and AI agents, and the web and mobile apps around them. We also build our own products, such as SolCane, StrawBoss and ADMINISTRATIVO.
