For sustainability certification (ISCC / RED III), biomass has to be traceable from the field where it was baled to the warehouse where it is delivered.

Without a system, that chain runs on paper: task lists, bale counts, weights, transport documents and signatures.

Dispatchers assign trucks, loaders and balers to parcels on a drag-and-drop board. Loader operators scan QR codes and count bales on their phones, offline if needed. Drivers record each trip from loading to delivery: odometer, weight, photos and three signatures.

GPS geofencing notices on its own when a truck enters a field or a depot. The system generates CMR transport documents from the chain of three signatures, flags possible fraud such as odometer, GPS or fuel discrepancies, raises alerts on bale mismatches or idle trucks, and reconciles bale counts across the chain. Dispatchers follow everything on a live dashboard with satellite field maps and GPS tracks.

It is a Turborepo monorepo: a Next.js admin dashboard, an Expo mobile app with local SQLite and sync, and a NestJS backend on Supabase (PostgreSQL with PostGIS, auth, storage, realtime), with Redis and BullMQ for background jobs. It serves several companies, each with its own roles, an audit log and CSV and PDF reports.

StrawBoss is in production at one farm in Banat.

It received a Special Prize at IDMSC, awarded by UPT, in June 2026.
